Frequently asked questions

Recreational and Early Learning Gymnastics

The process is simple. You can call us on 9659 9010 or 0477 704 517 to book a trial first. We assess all kids to ensure they are placed in the correct class for their age and ability. We will ask for some basic family details to create an account and book a trial class for your kids. Alternatively, you can create your own online account by clicking here. After the trial, one of our admin staff will call you to discuss the results and recommend a class based on the feedback of the coach. If you agree to proceed, we will raise the fees and discuss payment with you.

Each child trials a class first so we can determine your child’s gymnastics ability and make a class recommendation. Trials are always free for all our Early Learning programs. Free trials are available to school aged children weeks 9 and 10 of each term plus during school holidays.

All our Early Learning, Competitive and Adult Gymnastics programs offer free trials. Our Recreational programs offer an obligation – free trial. This means if your child trials and you go ahead with the booking, the trial will be changed as part of your term’s fees. If you do not proceed with enrolment, you will not be charged for the trial. Free trials for all programs are offered weeks 9 and 10 of each school term and during our school holidays.

Please refer to our fee schedule here.

Each gymnast is required to pay an annual Gymnastics Australia/Gymnastics NSW Annual membership registration fee. This fee covers your child in case they injure themselves while participating in gymnastics. Gymnastics NSW and other Gymnastics Australia fees for membership is transferable which means that you only pay this fee once per year even if you switch to other Gymnastics Australia affiliated clubs. The fee is raised annually starting from Term 1 of each school year. Please note this fee is non – refundable. For more information, please visit Gymnastics Australia website.

Gymnastics NSW/Gymnastics Australia Annual registration fee is transferable between Gymnastics Australia affiliated clubs. If you have already paid this fee with another club, simply let one of our friendly administrators know and we will request a transfer. You will only be liable to pay the annual $20 membership fee, which includes a club t-shirt for your child.

Your child will receive our club t-shirt once the club membership fee has been paid. Simply pop into reception and our admin staff will assist you. Additional shirts can be purchased for $15.

We raise invoices the first week of school holidays for the following term. The payment due date is Monday the second week of the school term. You will receive the invoice via email you provided to us at the time you joined our club. Please note we DO NOT direct debit. Payment options will be specified in your invoice email.

As per our voluntary withdrawal policy we require a two-week cancellation period from the date you notify our administrators in writing of your intention to leave. You can still attend your regular class during those two weeks.  A pro rata adjusted credit of term fees will be made to your account. Credit will be valid until the end of the current calendar year and can be used towards any of our activities and programs such as our School holiday Program, birthday party deposit, or if you decide to continue term classes later.

We run classes all throughout the week. We will do our best to match up the class times to accommodate your family needs, however we cannot guarantee this.

We offer three make up classes per term as per our Make Up policy. If you know you are going to be away, use your Customer Portal to mark your child as absent. A make-up token will then be allocated to your account. You need to call us to arrange a make-up class booking date and time. You can book your make-up classes before you have missed your regular class. Make up tokens have an expiry date and must be used before they expire.

Competitive Gymnastics

The cost of competitive programs depends on the number of hours your child is required to train. This will be determined once your child is invited to join a competitive squad. The Program Manager will discuss with you the cost, training requirements, competitions, and all other relevant information.

Once a child joins a competitive squad the expectation is that he/she will compete. Unless there is a medical reason for not participating in competitions, all competitive athletes are expected to compete.

Not attending all training sessions is detrimental to your child’s progress. We will discuss this with you and in extraordinary circumstances a reduction in training may be granted for a short period of time. Please discuss this with us at the time of being invited to join the squad.
