Three reasons why Kindergym is a must for every toddler

We all know that exercise is important to keep our bodies and minds healthy. Many parents ask us how early their kids should start gymnastics and our answer is as early as six months. Here is why:

  1. Stimulation

Young babies start to learn about the world around them from the time they are born. In order to learn, they need to be stimulated. Kindergym allows very young children to use their senses to learn about the world and get into a habit of making physical movement a regular part of their life.

  1. Develops cognitive and social skills

Physical stimulation boosts brain activity and helps pre-school children to learn more effectively. Attending Kindergym classes regularly allows children to interact with their peers, work in a team environment and communicate with adults.

  1. Develops strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and self- confidence

Kindergym helps young children to develop a good sense of body awareness. They learn how to use different parts of their bodies in different ways. This also aids in opening neurological pathways to boost their brain activity, helping them to learn new skills more effectively.

At Sydney Hills Gymnastics we believe in providing a fun and nurturing environment for kids to develop their physicality through gymnastics. We provide a range of Early Learning Programs for young children aged six months to five years of age. Free trials are available on all our Early Learning Programs.
