Team Spirit and Success at the 2025 HART Sport State Club Championships.
At Sydney Hills Gymnastics, we’re more than just a gymnastics club – we’re a community united by teamwork and a love of gymnastics! This spirit shone brightly at the 2025 HART Sport State Club Championships, held from 12–14 September at Sydney Gymnastics Centre.
Our teams of 49 talented Women’s and Men’s Artistic Gymnasts were cheered on by coaches, parents, siblings and supporters. The crowd brought plenty of energy, lifting our gymnasts to perform at their very best while they cheered on each other and celebrated every achievement along the way!
Outstanding Club Achievements
This year’s results reflect not only the talent of our gymnasts but also the teamwork and guidance of our coaches. We could not be prouder to celebrate these achievements:
🏆 MAG Overall Champion Club – 4th consecutive year!
Winning this title four years running is no small feat. It speaks to the dedication, consistency, and strength that define our MAG program.
🥈 2nd Overall Artistic Champion Club (WAG + MAG combined)
For the second year in a row, our Women’s and Men’s Artistic programs have combined to earn this honour. It is a true reflection of their growth and the spirit driving our competitive teams at SHG.
Introducing our Teams
Shining bright were our Level 5 team of Sophie, Aamilia, Brooklyn, Lucy and Ava. With Coaches Marina and Evgueni by their side, these girls powered their way to 1st place All Around, taking home gold on uneven bars, beam and floor, plus a silver on vault. More than the medals, what stood out most was their team spirit, cheering each other on, celebrating every routine and proving that they are the definition of squad goals.
With confidence and determination, Kyra, Isabella and Charlotte from Level 6 showed exactly what it means to compete with both skill and team spirit. Knowing every score counted toward the team total, they stepped up to the challenge and delivered strong performances to make Coaches Marina, Evgueni and Toby proud. Their efforts were rewarded with a bronze medal on vault, a 6th place finish on uneven bars and 6th place overall as a team.
Our well-practised Level 5 boys showed exactly why they’re a force to be reckoned with, finishing 1st All Around! They brought home an impressive haul of medals, including Gold on Floor, Rings, Parallel Bars and High Bar, and Silver on Pommel and Vault.
The team’s strength really shone on Rings, Parallel Bars and High Bar, where they scored over 30 points on each apparatus. Coach Sasha couldn’t have been prouder of his squad — Noah, Ronny, Dominic, Jethro, Nicholas, Oscar, Nash and Zachary — and the incredible routines they delivered.
In a massive session with 10 teams chasing the top spot, our Level 6 & 7 Open team rose to the challenge to come away with the gold! Moksh, Daniel, Andrei, Jack, Luke and Krishna shone across all apparatus, cheered on every step of the way by Coach Yiheng. Together, they claimed gold on Pommel, Vault and High Bar, plus bronze on Rings and Parallel Bars! An incredible team effort!
What a session! With a sea of yellow and black behind them, our Level 9+ team rose to the pressure and claimed the All-Around Gold in a nail-biting finish that came down to the final rotation. Damian, Daniel, Zach, Max and Lucas each played a vital role, and their combined effort sealed the win. Guided by Coaches Vassili and Yiheng, the team also earned Gold on Pommel, Vault and High Bar, plus Silver on Rings and Bronze on Parallel Bars.
Level 1 was all about energy, waves and smiles as Jackson, Riley, Cameron, Nolan, Shahan, Finn, Carter and Elberel took to the floor. From the very first routine, the boys showed just how hard they have been working in training.
The medal haul was impressive too! Gold on Pommel & Vault, Silver on Floor & High Bar, Bronze on Rings, plus a 4th on Parallel Bars! With results like that, the team proudly claimed 2nd All Around! Behind every routine was the steady support of Coaches Jad and Zachery, who couldn’t have been prouder of the boys’ achievements.
Lighting up the floor, Level 2 hit the competition with big personalities and even bigger performances! With the boys showing off cheeky thumbs up and muscle flexes on the podium, their playful spirit was matched by some seriously strong gymnastics, proving they can shine on the floor and have fun while doing it.
The medal count says it all! Sidharth, Veer, Mase, Kasra, Vivaan, Jahlil, Mason and Arrad struck gold on every apparatus except Parallel Bars, where they earned a silver. Thanks to their incredible effort, our Level 2 boys finished as the All-Around Champion Team, making Coaches Saeed, Jad, Tim H and Tim C very proud.
Taking the opportunity to represent Sydney Hills in a mixed team, Adora did us and Coaches Toby and Julia proud. The team pulled together beautifully, finishing 3rd All Around, with a standout 1st on floor and 3rd on both bars and beam. A brilliant effort for those well-earned medals!
Level 3 showed everyone exactly what they’re made of, impressing the crowd and making their parents proud with their hard work and dedication. With Coach Saeed’s guidance, James, Janav, Vincent, Ryan, Noah, Nathan and Issa delivered strong routines that earned them a fantastic 2nd All Around finish.
Their medal tally was just as impressive, the team taking home Silver on Floor, Gold on Pommel, Silver on Rings, Bronze on Vault, Silver on Parallel Bars and Silver on High Bar!
With some new faces in our Level 4 team and Coach Tim by their side, we were so proud to see Amogh, Logan and Jaxson step out in SHG’s yellow and black. Their contribution to the team was invaluable. It was amazing to watch them – along with our volunteer judges Moksh, Jack and Zach – celebrate as Sydney Hills Gymnastics was named MAG Champion Club in the final session.
A True Team Effort
Success like this doesn’t happen by chance. It comes from gymnasts giving their all on the floor, coaches, choreographers and judges guiding and inspiring every routine, and parents and supporters filling the stands with encouragement.
