Sydney Hills Gymnastics Shines at the 2025 National Clubs Carnival

What a week it was on the Gold Coast! Every Sydney Hills Gymnastics Acro team truly outdid themselves at this year’s National Clubs Carnival, delivering some of the best routines we’ve ever seen. From confident performances to big smiles on the competition floor, our athletes showed just how proud they were of their efforts, and the results proved it.

Sydney Hills Gymnastics finished 2nd Overall Junior Club, moving up from last year’s 3rd place. This is an incredible achievement for our team.

“It was a team effort and such a great way to finish the season,” said Coach Jillian. “The athletes came together for their final competition and ended the year on a real high.”

A Year of Growth, Resilience, and Teamwork

Watching their teamwork and perseverance has been inspiring.”

It was their first competition together, but you’d never know it! Ava and Maeghan stayed focused, motivated and connected every step of the way. Their positive affirmations before each routine helped them hit every skill, both in warm-up and on the floor.

“At training, nerves sometimes got to them,” their Coach Jillian said, “but on the day, they turned that energy into strength!  It was amazing to watch.”
